LV Transformer Supervisor

The LV transformer supervisor allows the status of the LV transformer in the Secondary Substation to be monitored. Compatible with any type of transformer, it has a three-phase voltage input and one or two three-phase current inputs for measuring electrical parameters.

Equipped with several communication ports, it allows complete monitoring of the transformer’s electrical parameters, including temperature measurement in the advanced version of the device. Its easy and intuitive user interface allows to quickly check its correct installation and operation.

 

Applications

  • Transformer supervisor in the LV output: monitoring up to 2 different outputs. For indoor or outdoor transformers (on a pole)
  • Feeder supervisor in the Secondary Substation: LV panel supply feeder or LV outgoing feeder
  • Monitoring of any intermediate element of the LV network: feeder pillar, main circuit breaker protection box…
  • LV network remote monitoring. Device compatible with a 4G router
  • Measurement of harmonics in voltage and current and THD (Total Harmonic Distortion), up to n=40 (*)
  • Internal algorithm for estimating transformer oil temperature. This data can be used to know the transformer status, its overload level and its aging (*)

Incoming connection CUMA 21

The CUMA 21 range of low voltage panels offers different types of incomings. Among the main options available are:

  1. LBS | Load break switch
  2. Three-pole vertical fuse switch:
    • BTVC (TRIVER+) 910/1000 A | Three-pole vertical fuse switch
    • BTVC-D 800/1260 A | Three-pole vertical double fuse switch
  3. MCCB | Circuit Breaker
  4. ICD | Integrated compact disconnector

Outgoings CUMA 21

Different combinations available depending on the selected components. Option to choose different outgoing options.

From 4 up to 12 three-pole vertical fuse switches (BTVC) NH 1/2/3 size or up to 24 outgoings NH 00 size (185 mm busbars).

 

POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION

An extension module can be connected to the main panel if more outgoings are required on the right or on the left according to the client’s preference.
This option is available for the Load Break Switch and Circuit Breaker incoming connection models for both frame and enclosure.
The maximum number of outgoings that can be added by means of these extension modules is 12.

Enclosures CUMA 21

Depending on the type of connection, the range of CUMA 21 panels allows up to three different enclosures to be used: frame, closed frame or metallic enclosure. This versatility of the product favors the integration of supervision equuipment in the transformation center.

  • Frame: possibility of mounting with any type of connection, either with a load break switch, with NH fuse switches, circuit breaker or integrated compact disconnector.
  • Closed frame: possibility of assembly with a connection to a compact integrated compact disconnector (ICD).
  • Metallic enclosure: allows assembly with any type of connection.

Monitoring options CUMA 21

Our supervision systems provides the possibility to measure and monitor the different electrical parameters at each outgoing line.
All models are designed to incorporate monitoring equipment in panels with fuse switches NH 1/2/3 size.

There are two types available:

 

BOTTOM ARRANGEMENT SOLUTION

SFS Lower Solution consists of a fuse switch, a SAL (Line Advanced Supervisor) which is assembled beneath the fuse switch, and a feeder meter.

  • Compact design & very few cabling
  • Protection fuses
  • Permits replacement of feeder meters on tension, no need of switching off
  • Possible RETROFIT of existing fuse switches

FEATURES
– Three phase supervisor per outgoing.
– Built-in Current Transformers / Voltage taps.

SAL (Line Advanced)

It includes built-in current transformers and a voltage taps per phase.
Available current transformers with different current ratios, based on fuse switches amperage.

 

TOP ARRANGEMENT SOLUTION

SFS upper solution consists of a fuse switch, protection case on top of it, current transformers, voltage connections and feeder meter.

  • Compact design & very few cabling
  • Protection fuses
  • Permits replacement of feeder meters on tension, no need of switching off

– Protection case per outgoing.
– Current Transformers /Voltage taps at the back of the fuse switch.
