Description
Electronic engineering specialized in the research and development of equipment for the identification, location and tracing of LV and MV cables and lines.
Electricity distribution companies and their contractors find it difficult to identify and locate the topology of Low and Medium Voltage lines, since:
- The supply cannot be interrupted.
- The data measured and collected must be 100% reliable.
- Human resources are limited, so as few staff as possible should be employed.
- Identification must be done quickly and efficiently.
PRODUCT RANGE
1 | Portable devices for identification of cables in electrical safety
2 | Portable devices for identification of line and phase in low voltage networks in service
3 | Portable devices for locator and tracing underground cable and pipe
APPLICATIONS
Electric Safety | Cable identification
In maintenance work on electrical distribution networks, where cable handling is necessary, it is vitally important to identify the cable safely before starting to handle it.
Our wide range of devices for the identification of cables and phases, allows to carry out the identification in a reliable, fast and safe way.
Electric network digitisation | Network topology
The term “network connectivity or topology” refers to the process of determining the connection of an end-consumer to a transformer in the LV network, i.e. to which transformer, feeder and phase(s) the customer is connected. This network, in turn, may or may not have intermediate distribution elements, of which we will also be interested in knowing the connection in order to have a complete map of the consumers hanging from a transformer and the LV network in general.
Our wide range of products allows us to adapt to the needs of our customers, for example; smart meter replacement campaigns, updating customer data in the company’s GIS system…
Maintenance: electricity distribution networks
When planning and carrying out maintenance work on electrical networks, it is important to know:
- Before making supply cuts: know how the supply points are connected, know which customers depend on a certain line …
- Before carrying out excavations, locate the underground cables and their route …
- In the event of electrical losses, to be able to locate in an agile and simple way where the damaged point of the cable is located, before proceeding with the excavation
Merytronic has developed a complete range of solutions to help maintenance companies to carry out their tasks in an agile, fast and safe way. Avoiding unnecessary supply cuts, reducing fault location time and guaranteeing, at the same time, the quality of the supply and the safety of the people.
Maintenance: locator and tracer of underground pipe networks
In civil works, where it is necessary to carry out excavation work, in carrying out maintenance work on the pipe networks, new pipelines, repairs … of the different existing services (water, gas, communications) it is necessary to know where they run the different networks of pipes, before proceeding to the excavation.
Our solutions are developed to be able to locate and trace underground pipes, both metallic and non-metallic, in a fast and safe way.
Piping networks digitisation for Oil&Gas
Merytronic has developed a solution that allows digitising the layout of distribution pipe networks, both metallic and non-metallic.
The MRT-700 device and its digitisation app GridGIS Map Creator, help to carry out the digitisation of distribution networks for Oil&Gas companies in an agile and efficient way.
Thanks to the digitising app, existing data can be downloaded from the company’s GIS system on a map, edited and filled during field work and uploaded to the system once the tasks have been finished. This process is carried out in a simple way, thus avoiding transcription errors.
A complete solution that helps Oil&Gas companies to keep their pipeline network layouts up to date and to identify the different elements that make them up.
GIS campaigns
Equipment for the capture of data from electrical networks.
Smart Meter Installation
Equipment that facilitates the correct installation, linking the meter with the transformer, phase and line to which it is connected.
Balance of loads and calculation of losses of Transformers
Equipment that identifies which transformer and to which phase of it each customer is linked. Knowing all the customers linked to a transformer, it is possible to calculate the technical and non-technical losses of the transformer.
