Switchboards for Transformer Substations

Switchboards for Transformer Substations

Description

DEFINITION

The range of Low Voltage Switchboards for Transformer Substations (CBTA), is designed to fit the requeriments of direct customers and industrial facilities.

These LV switchboards can be used for power transformers from 100 kVA up to 2000 kVA. All CBTAs have a load break switch or circuit breaker for main operation. Its aim is to spread the LV supply from the distribution transformer into several independent feeders. Main operation by means of load break switch or circuit breaker.

General features:

  • Protection against accidental contacts.
  • Feeders by means of one pole fuse bases NH type or vertical design three pole fuse switches TRIVER+.
  • Auxiliary circuits.
  • Auxiliary circuits for the substation services.
  • A main residual current protection is available under request.

The incoming connection is designed for a No. of cables according to the switchboard rated current. For the 3150 A LV switchboard this incoming is designed for 8 cables per phase (240 mm2).

CBTA are tested according ITC-RAT-14 of the Regulation on Technical Conditions and Security Guarantees in high voltage electric facilities (9th of May, 2014 RD 337/2014).

FIELD OF APLICATION

One protected line from the transformer substation to the factory’s main switchboard. Direct distribution from the transformer substation to the different independent circuits of the factory.
