Projects
Research, Develop, Innovate
We are committed to developing products that require less energy consumption, spending all our efforts into the study of new designs that allow a considerable reduction in energy losses. This is our priority in all type of applications.
Some examples of funded projects:
Smart LV Panel
Smart Low Voltage Panel with Advanced Feeder Supervision & Automatic Feeder Mapping
Project goal
Provide intelligence and communication to the low voltage panel, making it possible to control and manage the distribution network.
Description
SmartLVPanel is the answer for the current situation in which there is a lack of information about what is happening in the distribution network. By incorporating advanced supervision and automatic connectivity, we can know the network parameters, consumption and connectivity for each network line.
Funding organism
This project has been co-financed by EEAGrants program.
CONH3CT
Development of new conductive elements for fuse bases
Project goal
Reduction of the energy losses due to the Joule Effect, a phenomenon whereby the moving electrons of an electric current impact the material through which they are being conducted, which occurs in fuse switches.
Description
We are investigating new designs for the conductors of the fuse switches that allow to reduce energy losses and support the operation for high performance applications. The reduction of energy loss is an issue of vital importance for large electricity companies and is an element of value that makes our products stand out from others available on the market.

This project has been co-financed by EEAGrants program.
Grid 4.0
Support programme for business R&D
Project goal
We want to develop a protection device that allows remote maneuvering of the distribution lines of the low voltage switchboards.
Description
We were protagonists of the great technological advance that led to the introduction of advanced supervision in distribution networks. Now that we have the information about the situation, we do not want to stop at that point and we are investigating to provide the market with equipment that allows acting on the network.
Funding organism
This project has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).
CUMA 21
Insulated modular boards
Project goal
We want to develop a new range of modular, low-voltage switchboards by developing a system of isolated plates that allow any type of connection element to be connected and combined with the desired number of outputs.
Description
We want to improve our service and optimize the manufacturing processes of custom frames. Our goal is to develop a configurator through which our customers can customize products based on their needs. The manufacture of the different models of low voltage switchboards is based on the combination of components that can be coupled together and thus reduce them.
Funding organism
This project has been co-financed by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI).
DigiMark
New web
Project goal
Create a new website for Pornutec to improve usability and provide a fresher and more current image.
Description
The project has got 3 parts: The design of the new website, the incorporation of commercial functionalities within it and the training of marketing teams for the use of new digital tools.
Funding organism
Has been co-financed by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF) within the 2021 smart reactivation program.
