Meet our GPC! The new Genset Power Connector

Pronutec presents the new Genset Power Connector, specifically designed to provide compact and safe means to connect portable generators in LV distribution panels, when a power blackout occurs.

In such a situation a quick and safe operation is performed.

Interface connections are compatible with 185 mm busbar systems, which make the GPC the perfect solution to upgrade existing installations “in field”, supplying up to 2000 A in a quick operation.

The three options available are:

• • 1 Pole
  • 3 Poles
  • 3 Poles + Neutral

 

The main features of this new product are:

• Safe operation. No exposure to active parts.
• Installation in live conditions with insulated tools.
• All opetations can be done under voltage.
• M12 fixing point, compatible with busbars with captive nuts or inserted bolts.
• Angled copper bar for comfortable operation.
• Maximum cross section: 300 mm²
• Maximum cable lug width: 40 mm

GPC is the answer to the growing demand from our customers to connect and disconnect portable generators to electrical utility distribution networks, by using spare space or by replacing a Vertical Fuse Switch Disconnector.
